General Policies

• Belongings - Students belongings are to be labeled. No loose jewelry is to be worn and hair is always to be worn back away from the face and neck. Ballet Buns are required for Pre-Professional classes.

• Weather - If Concord Carlisle Public Schools are closed due to weather, On Your Toes is closed. Please view the weather update on www.thoreau.com for details. If Saturday classes are cancelled due to weather all students will be emailed or called directly. 

• Make-up Classes - Proper attendance is very important to the progress of a dancer. Missed classes are strongly encouraged to be made up. Please email On Your Toes if you will be absent and we will recommend a make-up class. Make-up classes must be made within 30 days of absence. 

• Withdraw - if after two classes the student wants to withdraw, a full refund is given. After two classes, no refunds are given, but students can be issued a credit to be used with another sibling or a summer program at On Your Toes. Credits are honored for 1 year. 

• Recitals - Students have the wonderful opportunity to perform twice a year at On Your Toes. The winter demo is an informal presentation usually held at the On Your Toes dance studio. The annual Spring Performance (April) is more formal, with elaborate costumes and is held at a local middle or high school.
