Social Tennis
Tennis is a social game! Connecting with friends, playing matches, discussing strategies, practicing skills - are all more fun in groups. The Thoreau Club is a perfect place for social tennis gatherings. Our courts are viewable all year-round and members and their guests enjoy time after and before game play in our semi-private setting for a table of refreshments and room for conversations.
Smash Tennis is offered each Friday - a perfect start to the weekend! Players get feedback from pros and enjoy match play with friends. Smash tennis is open to Thoreau Club Tennis members. To request more information about Smash Tennis, email Amy.
Friday Night Scrambles are exciting monthly events on Fridays from 8-10pm. Players participate in a Round Robin under the guidance of a Thoreau Club Tennis Pro. The pace is fast, the people are fun, and we end with light refreshments and prizes - a great start to the weekend. Thoreau Club Tennis members and guests may register for this event.
