Our cycling studio features Keiser M3 bikes with computers. Several times a year we will lead time trial classes so that members have a chance to get a snapshot of their power ability on an indoor bike. If you have recently completed one of these classes and have your average watts you may want to use the application link. When you put your average watts for the time trial and click "return" the application will tell you your Functional Threshold Power and the range of watts that you should aim for during different segments of a planned ride. Print this out and bring it with you to class. Aim high and stay strong! If you cycle 3+ times a week and add in some strength training you are on a good path to increasing your watts and FTP level which means you are getting fitter!
