Barbecues and Clambakes are our specialty. Thoreau Outings’ preferred caterers provide you with unsurpassed food quality, service and presentation. Our “All You Can Eat” barbecues and old fashioned New England Clambakes are prepared fresh on-site by our talented chefs. Custom-made equipment and smokers along with tasty marinates ensure the “fall off the bone” ribs, steaks and chicken.

Summer Outings at Thoreau are easy! our menus are presented as complete packages - eliminating the worry or hassle of selecting each item. We are, of course, happy to design custom menus if requested.
